Configuration for the Mac mail client

  1. You will need the server settings for your e-mail address.
  2. Click Mail on the file menu and choose Preferences.
    The mail settings window will be displayed.

  3. To add a new account, click + the at the bottom under Accounts.

  4. Enter the information as below, using your e-mail address, user name and password.

  5. Normally your user name is the portion of your e-mail address prior to the @ symbol.


    Note: The process for configuring new accounts and changing settings is the same as it has been in previous versions of Mac Mail.
