Configuration for Microsoft Outlook 2007
- You will need the server settings for your e-mail address.
- Open Outlook, click Tools, then choose Account Settings.
- Click the E-mail tab, and click New.
- Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and click Next.
- Select Internet E-mail, and click Next.
- Enter the following information for E-mail Accounts:
- Your Name: Enter the name want your e-mail to display when someone receives your message.
- E-mail Address: Type your complete e-mail address, for example johndoe@hostworks.com
- Account Type: POP3
- Incoming mail server: Type in your POP server
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.hostworks.com
- User Name: Type your complete e-mail address, for example johndoe@hostworks.com
- Password: Type in your password for the e-mail address entered above, and select box Remember password
- Click
- Click the Outgoing Server tab, and select the box labeled My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
