Configuration for Microsoft Outlook 2007
  1. You will need the server settings for your e-mail address.
  2. Open Outlook, click Tools, then choose Account Settings.

  3. Click the E-mail tab, and click New.

  4. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and click Next.

  5. Select Internet E-mail, and click Next.

  6. Enter the following information for E-mail Accounts:


    • Your Name: Enter the name want your e-mail to display when someone receives your message.
    • E-mail Address: Type your complete e-mail address, for example johndoe@hostworks.com
    • Account Type: POP3
    • Incoming mail server: Type in your POP server
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.hostworks.com
    • User Name: Type your complete e-mail address, for example johndoe@hostworks.com
    • Password: Type in your password for the e-mail address entered above, and select box Remember password

  7. Click Image


  8. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and select the box labeled My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, then choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server.

  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Click Finish.
