Configuration for Eudora 7 on Windows
- You will need the email settings for your specific email address to complete this walkthrough.
- Open up Eudora 7.
- The Account Wizard will automatically open. Click Next.
- Select "Create a brand new email account" and click Next.
- Type your name in the box and click Next.
- Type your email address in the box and click Next.
- Enter your full email address in the user name box. (JohnDoe@hostworks.com)
- Enter your incoming server (mail.hostworks.com). Then Select POP and click Next.
Important: Refer to step 1 to find out the email server settings for your email address.
- Enter your outgoing server (mail.hostworks.com). Check the box to allow authentication then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Click on the Tools drop down menu and select Options.
- Select the Sending Mail category.
- Check the Use submission port (587) and click OK.
- You are now set to send and receive mail. To receive email click on Check Mail and enter your password.
