Configuration for Eudora 7 on Windows

How to set up Eudora 7 to send and receive emails
  1. You will need the email settings for your specific email address to complete this walkthrough.
  2. Open up Eudora 7.

  3. The Account Wizard will automatically open. Click Next.

  4. Select "Create a brand new email account" and click Next.

  5. Type your name in the box and click Next.

  6. Type your email address in the box and click Next.

  7. Enter your full email address in the user name box. (JohnDoe@hostworks.com)

  8. Enter your incoming server (mail.hostworks.com). Then Select POP and click Next.

    Important: Refer to step 1 to find out the email server settings for your email address.

  9. Enter your outgoing server (mail.hostworks.com). Check the box to allow authentication then click Next.

  10. Click Finish.

  11. Click on the Tools drop down menu and select Options.

  12. Select the Sending Mail category.

  13. Check the Use submission port (587) and click OK.

  14. You are now set to send and receive mail. To receive email click on Check Mail and enter your password.
